Knitted honeycomb

At the farm and camping this past weekend, i’ve chipped away at a new rug pattern.

I love this idea. I have many many scraps left over from my handspun wool and angora, and I have just put them together into multi-coloured striped socks. Now, I will have to see about doing this project. Easy to take with me.

Definitely, and great for little bits of handspun. Each honeycomb is less than 5 grams. The original pattern is actually a lap blanket but i’m going to see if it’s thick enough for a rug.
